This years President and Vice President elections are going to be much more open with new election rules passed this past council. The changed will see candidates able to begin campaigning much earlier than previous years with the official start date coming this Monday, 28th of January.
The restrictions on materials and methods of publicity and communication have been greatly reduced with a focus on innovative ideas for reaching students. This is exciting because it does not limit campaigns who want to try new things.
Candidate nomination forms for President/Vice President, Board of Governors and Senate are now available on the 4th floor of the Student Union Building from Linda MacDonald in the big glass bubble.(you can miss her desk)
