With some egg on it's face and pride in it's pocket, the chairs office has postponed the senate election slated for this past Monday to next Monday, the 28th of January.
The independent company which hosts the election software The Student Union uses for it's elections had an error in it's programming from a previous election held at a different school. The result was a system that was unable to recognize most voters and those it did allow to login, were permitted to vote several times.
A sincere apology was offered from the returning office and a sigh of relief from the communications department as it could now properly promote the senate election. Stay tuned to the council ticker for more information on this and other union issues.
