TheU Council awarded the first ever $500 dollar International Student Bursary to Soo Jin Lee . Her first year at X has seen her become very active academically and socially involving herself with student life.
"This bursary is really a token of support to all students who arrive at StFX from other countries and help enhance the experience for all students at this university,"" said Union Vice President Marc Rodrigue.
The award, initially created to be given during the frosh week festivities in September was delayed until later in the year. The bursary was presented at the February meeting of council Sunday evening in the Student Union Building.
